Lovin food + lovin’ life. That’s what it’s all about, yeah? If that’s the case, and it is, then these lovelies have got it down pat. In their words:
Fat Girl Food Squad is a blog, and more importantly — a community, focused on the intersection between food, fat, and Feminism. These core ideas inform everything we do and everything we write about. We are fundamentally about people of all shapes and sizes eating good food and feeling good in their bodies, in every way possible.
They also host events + workshops around Toronto — and if (when?!) they host another food photography workshop I’m there! Which is why they seemed like the perfect ladies to reach out to get some delicious shots of our No Bowls. Along the way we also co-hosted a giveaway (with a very happy winner!) and they asked me some smart, admittedly tough questions on their blog under their ‘Kickin’ ass & takin’ names’ series: Kickin’ Ass & Takin’ Names: Karen King of Said the King You can find more of their sweet, sweet content on their blog, Fat Girl Food Squad, or see if there’s a FGFS in your city. You can also get your chubby little hands on some of our ‘No bowls’ on our site or right here from this post! Lemme leave you with this final delicious morsel of FGFS wisdom:
We operate under the principle that, regardless of size or gender, there is a ‘Fat Girl’ living in everyone.
